Adobe illustrator barcode generator script

With this script, you can produce the EAN-13 barcode tag straightforwardly in your Adobe Illustrator record. Simply place your barcode identification number in your archive as a test string: the script will discover it and supplant it with a working EAN-13 scanner tag. 

NOTE: The OCRB Std font style should be istalled on your PC. This text style is accessible at the Adobe TypeKit: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/ocr-b

How to install a script

Installation:
1. Download the ZIP folder
2. Extract a JSX file from ZIP folder.
3. Place the EAN13Barcode.jsx file in:
Win (32 bit): C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator [vers.]\Presets\en_GB\Scripts\
Win (64 bit): C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator [vers.] (64 Bit)\Presets\en_GB\Scripts\ Mac
OS: /Applications/Adobe Illustrator [vers.]/Presets.localized/en_GB/Scripts
4. Restart Illustrator
5. The script should be visible now under File > Scripts > EAN13Barcode
NOTE: The OCRB Std font needs to be installed on your computer. This font is available at the
Adobe TypeKit: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/ocr-b
Place your barcode or barcodes numbers as 13 digit text in your open document. (Only one
barcode number per frame or point text string).

Run the script.
The script will find all 13 digits strings and replace them with a working EAN13 barcode.
If the barcode is not correct, the alert will appear. Please ensure that the barcode number and the
checksum are correct.
